#17 Gastro Intestinal Support
This is an excellent mix for a horse that is prone to have a spasmodic or a flatulent intestinal tract. It is designed to coat and soothe the digestive tract and dispel gas. Constant use will help restore the intestinal tract, so colic becomes less frequent.
If you don’t have a twisted intestine or impacting you can expect to walk your horse out of his colic discomfort in about ten minutes. Simply put two scoops (2 tbs.) of the Gastro Intestinal Support (Colic Ease) in a cup and add a small amount of water to it until it becomes a paste, then paste him on the back of the tongue. Walk him until he is moving freely. If you do not see favourable results within about ten minutes you are probably dealing with something other than simple colic. If you have a horse that is a chronic colic victim you should consider feeding him something on a regular basis to regenerate the flora as well as the intestinal integrity. The #30 Digestive is specific for this cause.
