For horses with EPM this is an excellent nutritional supplement that helps strengthen and rebuild the damage to the central nervous system. We like to recommend that it is used in conjunction with the #13 Worm Foe, as the protozoa that causes the neurological damage in the CNS is a parasite and is dispelled by using this combination. We also like to use the #30 Digestive or the #29 LCR with these herbal combinations, as the parasite is thought to access the CNS by way of lesions in the intestinal tract. Therefore we need to address the healing of the digestive tract. The last part of the EPM puzzle fits neatly in place when we rebuild the immune system with the #24 Immune Builder. that helps strengthen and rebuild the damage to the central nervous system.
